    Resetting tpms

On my 2009 the re-set is under the drivers side dash, Check your manual for location and re-set procedure. With the car being that old you may have a sensor with a dead battery. Any tire shop can check it. Many will do it at no charge. They have a hand held scanner that can read the TPMS...

09 Start Problem between a dead battery and crank. Please help

I would start by putting a full charge on the battery even though it is on the newer side. Also check all battery cables & make sure all connections are tight & corrosion free. Would be a good idea to check terminals on alternator and starter as well.

09 transmission fluid and filter change

When I do my drain & fill it takes slightly more than 3 quarts. Measure what you drain out and replace with that amount. Since you are slightly low I would top it off after the procedure. I did my first service at about 95K miles, it was red on the dip stick but brown when I drained it. Because...

    2000 Corolla Mobil1 oil?

It should be fine on Mobil 1. For my 2009 Corolla I had an extended warranty so I let dealer do oil changes until warranty expired at 100k miles. Switched to Mobil 1 after that and have not had any issues. Now at 176k miles and oil sample reports show no signs of unusual wear.

    2009 Corolla Steering Issues

I suggest having your alternator tested. When mine went out it caused all kinds of problems including steering issues.

How long could my 2012 Corolla last?

My 2009 just turned 175000 miles. The only 'major' repair was an alternator. Otherwise just regular maintenance.

2009 Corolla Gauges and engine acting strange.

I'd start by having the alternator checked. My car did all kinds of crazy stuff when the alternator went bad.

    Bluetooth

You can change the radio or add a bluetooth adaptor. Crutchfield has both options and I am sure there are many more sources out there.

    09 Corolla Trunk Latch

    1) Does the keyless entry put out 12volts? If not you need to use a relay. 2) Try running wires from the battery to the trunk latch to make sure it still works. Remember you only need a momentary contact.

Transmission not even sure of my question

Toyota Uses different types of trans fluid. You need to use Toyota WS . There are a few brands that are supposed to be WS equivalent. You should be ok adding the small amount that you need. Do NOT use something for all Toyotas and/or other manufacturers.

Transmission not even sure of my question

Judging by your mileage and the color you described I think your fluid needs service. I didn't do anything to mine until about 96k and it looked a little better (on the dipstick) than how you described yours. I did a drain and fill and when it drained out it was very brown in color. I did a...

    Replacing the trunk mechanical cable

I have read of a few people that had problems when the cable slipped out of the trunk latch. I suggest looking there first. You will need to loosen or remove the trunk lid cover to do so.

What bulbs are you running in your 2009-2011 Corollas

I'm using Putco halogen bulbs. They have 4000k and 440k options available, as well as some others. If your dead set on either LED or HID I would go with the LED> I have read of more than a few instances of HID melting the housing on the fog lights.

Snowstorm and this is what the underside looks

That's what it looks like. It's only held in by small plastic plugs. I had one of mine come loose and the plugs were still there. The splash shield just pulled loose around them. I just removed the plugs and reinstalled them through the shield.

    synthetic engine oil

I asked Mobil something similar a while back, Q: 2009 Toyota Corolla 1.8L about to hit 150k miles. First 100k oil change at dealer at 5k intervals with conventional 5w20. Since then Mobil 1 0w20 advanced fuel economy oil changed every 5k. Sent sample after last oil change foe analysis, no...

Cracks in my windshield, will it worsen? Should I replace it?

See if there is a Gerber glass in your area. I had mine replaced for about $240 and they came to my house to do it. Safelite was considerably more.

    Heat shield repair

Mine came loose when it rusted by the retaining bolts. I didn't feel like working underneath to fix it so I took it to an exhaust shop. They replaced the bolts and used oversize washers. $20 out the door.
