You have any updates? I would check two things. 1. Do the caliper float pins have grease on them? 2. Are the calipers sticking?

If you shift very aggressively, over time you will bend the shifter forks. When that happens, the synchro isn't held into the coupling as tight as it should be, and any torque will pop the coupling back to the neutral position. Take it easy on the car until you can get the transmission looked...

I'm unable to find images of the 2ZR-FE that would show the transmission bolt pattern. If the 2.4 shares the same bolt pattern, then it should work. Otherwise, if your goal is to go from a 5-speed to a 6-speed ... the '14+ 6-speeds will directly bolt in and replace the 5-speed.

L doesn't come with a fob. You'll have to get an aftermarket system. The immobilizer they are talking about is in reference to PATS (Passive Anti-Theft System), which is the electronic chip in the key that prevents someone from hotwiring the car and driving off with it.

Depends on how much you want to spend. If you are on a budget, you can get Pioneer / Infinity / JL Audio 3-way speakers for relatively cheap and they will sound great. If you have money to drop ... I would invest in a component 6.5" system for both the front and the rear ... they have brackets...

What you'd be looking for then, is the plug that goes into the plug for the mirror. It is probably a 4-pin plug. 2 wires for ground, 1 wire for signal lead, and 1 wire for defrost lead. If this plug has 4 wires going into the plug, then it should work. If it only has two wires going in, you...

You need 2 bulbs, load resistors not required for reverse, can't remember the lumens but Super Bright will list it on their website.

Wouldn't work tapping off the power wire since the turn signals would only fire in defrost mode ... if you pull off the interior panel that covers the mirror, you might see an extra plug there that would be used for the turn signals.

I already had to buy a new set of valve stem caps ... not because of the stealership ... but because I forgot them on the roof after filling up :-X

8k is gonna be too blue. Go with a 6k (and yeah, I would recommend getting housings that can handle H11 bulbs before doing an HID retrofit ... the stock ones don't tolerate much heat before melting).
