I have a stick so I can't relate. When driving easy I usually shift every 10 mph (i.e. into 2nd at 10, into 3rd at 20, etc.) When I drive spirited, I go into 2nd at 30, 3rd at 55, 4th at 80, and 5th at 107.

That's normal right after you reset the Average MPG. It updates often but after a while, there typically is little change.
