    Spirited driving with the CVT?!

A 6 speed swap is possible since Corolla's come with them but be ready to pay to do so.

The black looks really good! It looks like a lot of work to do but it seems to be well worth it!

    !!! Attention!! 2014 -17 Corolla & IM PCM UPDATE!!

I don't know about DJ but if you only do your services at the Toyota dealer, they will always check the life of the fluid every 20-30k km's and when it needs to be changed, they will notify the owner to do it. If you do your own maintenance, it's generally recommended to do it at 100-120k km's.

    Supercharger.

There's a few threads on Toyotanation talking about installing the supercharger on the Corolla. It is expensive to do but the whole product has been on the Lotus Elise for awhile and there aren't any reliability concerns over it.

    2014 Corolla S CVT Problems

Correct me if I'm wrong but is what you're trying to say is that because 2 or 3 new gen Corolla's came in for a CVT replacement (which you don't know how they've been treated or maintained previously) out of the thousands that are on the road, the CVT in the Corolla's are now a problem? Just...

    Supercharger.

Someone installed the supercharger from a Lotus Elise S onto the 2014+Corolla since they use the same engines. The Elise with that engine and supercharger makes 217 hp and 184 lbft of torque so that's probably what you would get if you swap that in to your Corolla.

    !!! Attention!! 2014 -17 Corolla & IM PCM UPDATE!!

Supercharged basically said it for me. The K series CVT's have been used for many years in other cars in the Asian markets and they were brought over to the U.S. because they have been proven to be reliable. The only CVT's that I can say to stay away from are the ones from 2010 and newer...

    !!! Attention!! 2014 -17 Corolla & IM PCM UPDATE!!

I don't know where you're getting your facts from but I have barely seen anyone with CVT problems in the Corolla. I've probably only read 2 or 3 threads where people actually had their transmissions replaced and that can happen to anyone. Whether it be a random failure due or the owner abusing...

    Looking for Turbo kit

As Supercharged said, there are no kits available that you can just plug and play into your 11th gen but there is a kit available for the previous gen Corolla which shares the same engine. The only differences would be the harness and some of the piping for different body fitment.

    Pedal Commander Throttle Controller

From what I understand about throttle controllers in general, their main purpose is to remove the throttle error/throttle lag that drive-by-wire (electronic) throttles have. In a cable throttle car or drive-by-cable car, there is no lag as the gas pedal is directly opening the butterfly valve in...

Corolla K313 CVT same model as Toyota C-HR?

So it's the same model since it's a "K" model CVT but it might be programmed a bit different to the K313 or it may have stronger or weaker parts in it.

    Headers?!!!?

What you don't understand though is that the factory parts such as the intake and stock exhaust are very restrictive from the factory which is what makes the Corolla fuel efficient and reliable. Even installing the mods mentioned above without a tune will give you more power than stock just...

Corolla K313 CVT same model as Toyota C-HR?

After looking at the CHR owner's manual, the section for the CVT states that the M position on the shifter is the "7-speed sport sequential shiftmatic mode driving" which is the same in the K313 transmission. So it is most likely a K313 that is in the CHR. Either way, I'll be going to a Toyota...

Corolla K313 CVT same model as Toyota C-HR?

The 2.0L in the CHR is the 3ZR-FAE which is very similar to the 2ZR in the Corollas. The main difference is that it has a 2.0L block vs the 1.8L block that the Corolla has. So it could be possible that it's using the K313 CVT as well.

    Intake

If you just want better induction sound and a cheaper price tag, get a short ram intake. If you want better performance, better sound, and don't mind paying a bit extra, get a cold air intake. Even with a short ram intake, you'll get a bit better performance than the stock intake since the stock...

    A little more power

Look on here to see what else there is that you can do to get more performance that'll suit your needs: http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/377-11th-gen-corolla-2014-scion-im-2016/696537-modifications-available-11th-gen-corolla.html

    Anyone see a problem here?

So true. In the end, if something goes wrong, it won't affect them as much as it will affect you.

    2ZR-FE oil consumption fixed?

The 2ZR was introduced in 2008 into the Corolla lineup with the 10th gen Corolla's so they were pretty much brand new engines in a brand new configuration and with anything brand new, there will be problems. With the 2009 Corolla's, the common issues were that the water pumps would be faulty...

    sooooo

Some people on ToyotaNation contacted turbokits.com to ask about whether it would work or not and they responded by saying that a few 11th gen owners have already bought the kit and made it work on their 11th gen Corolla with a bit of modification. I'm guessing the only modifications would be to...
