Are all of the tires the same size? I believe your car should still be covered under the basic warranty even though you are the second owner. Mr. Dealer should be helping you diagnose if so.

@SnowhiteCorollaS I did some more reading online, found some similar sounding issues. Some people said it was brake dust, and that a clay bar would remove the issue. I'm still going to take it to the dealer when I have time though. I want to know what the deal is. And Toyota can fix this issue...

You cut up a $300 exhaust system? I would have given you $200 for it and then you could have cut up the stock pipe for a Magnaflow.

@Bcrewcaptain Does this not make the CD player freak out? I like the idea of this. I thought the vent style clips would not work because of how the vents are sort of recessed on the dash. (You must have an older year model Corolla?) So I have been dreaming on how to make something else work.

Are you resetting that Average every single trip or highway session? I have not reset mine over the course of 20k miles and I am happy with 31.4 (I think that's what it is) I have a heavy foot. 6-speed manual makes the little 1.8 fun.

I would not, Plastidip is a huge pain to take off. And before someone says that it is easy, go put it on some wheels and then try to take it off. Of course I was not the installer when I had to remove the stuff, but it was a HUGE pain to take off.

His initial question was low idle without running AC. That was my response to his first post. I'm not sure which way he is asking now. I do know that my 6 speed 2015 Corolla S Plus does drop RPMs with the HVAC system off completely.

I have had that happen a little bit too with mine. 2015 with 18k miles on it. I think it may just be the gasoline. Who knows though. Mine sounds more infrequent than yours.

I haven't been completely under my Corolla S but I am fairly certain these are on all models. Part of the Corolla remodel for better MPG across all trim levels.

I get a noise when pulling out of an angled driveway. Sounds like the suspension or something, heck maybe even the chassis twisting a little bit. Not sure if it irritates me enough to take it in, but the dashboard rattle on the other hand... :confused:
