    Fuel System Cleaner

Fuel cleaner? Unless you have seen MPG drop drastically, rough running, poor idle, etc. don't rock the boat. I don't even use fuel cleaner regularly on my carbureted Land Cruiser. I may have done a can of Seafoam like 10,000 miles ago but that's when I was running an aftermarket carb that...

    Waxing

I've been meaning to wax mine. Probably just going to use regular old Turtle Wax. Or I might have a Meguiar's product in a little gift set my Dad bought me. Probably will opt for that one. I'll use the Turtle Wax on the Land Cruiser :)

    S Plus Uncomfortable Seat

To the OP, glad you could get your seat issue resolved with your shop. Just to add in to the mix... I'm 6'5" 280lbs. Seats are just fine with me. 3-4 hours in the car no problem. Haven't had the chance to make a longer trip yet.

    Hitting 5000 miles

Good to note on the motor oil. My gut reaction was to go with Mobil One, but I might consider this stuff based on availability of either oil.

TRD PERFORMANCE EXHAUST SYSTEM TOYOTA COROLLA S

Thanks for your feedback man. So the TRD is like straight-pipe Honda loud, and the Borla is more reasonable? lol I like the sound of that... (get it?)

TRD PERFORMANCE EXHAUST SYSTEM TOYOTA COROLLA S

I'm so tied up between the TRD and Borla. I keep hearing the Borla sounds better, but I like the way the TRD mimics the bumper shape. Oval on top, flat bottom. Whereas the Borla just has a round exit. Borla is less money, "Borla sounds better", TRD looks cooler in my book, OEM parts are the...

TRD PERFORMANCE EXHAUST SYSTEM TOYOTA COROLLA S

It will make more go fast noises. Toyota Part Number: PTR06-02140 I have read and been told that the Borla sounds better. View the Borla Exhaust HERE You will not see an increase in MPG, more power, etc. with either exhaust just more noise. I came really close to buying the TRD but then I...

    Hitting 5000 miles

I don't trust the dealer I use at all, but since it is free, I deal with it. I just double check their work. Example why I hate them: I specified before they changed my oil to not leave oil on the engine cover. I got the car back after service, popped the hood in the service drive, oil all over...

Leaving car parked for 1 month

I would say for a month you will be alright. Flat spots aren't permanent. My FJ60 sat for more than a year while the motor was being rebuilt. Tires were fine. They did stain the clean concrete in my Dad's garage though. BFG AT fo' life. Interesting you point that out @HanSolo My friend had to...

    Howdy From Australia

Awesome! I have an 1984 FJ60 myself. No diesel here just the good ol' 2F gasser. See my intro thread for a pic. Care to share your LC? @Jags73

    Dashboard Rattling

Pretty sure I have dash rattles there in my 2015 S Plus 6MT as well. It's not very loud and inconsistent, not worth the time at the dealer to find it. They'd probably break the dash trying to fix it.

    klinetime574 Intro

Thank you. I try to keep it in good shape. I did curb two wheels, kicking myself for that. If I hang onto this thing long enough I'm sure it'll get mods, but for now it's just a DD. The Land Cruiser shines in the correct light sometimes. lol

    Scale up volume buttons?

Yeah the scale is fine to me. Twist the knob if you want it to go faster. Can we see some pictures of your Corolla? Interested to see the differences.

New Member with a new Corolla S Premium

That Volvo thing sucks, but now you're in a Toyota! Keyless entry is definitely a huge feature. I don't think most people realize some of these Corolla models come higher equipped than base model BMW and Mercedes-Benz vehicles for a fraction of the price. Can't beat it. And when these cars get...

    klinetime574 Intro

Hey guys and gals, Suppose I should do one of these. I'm new to the Corolla, but not to Toyota. ^ That's my 1984 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ60 that my Dad bought new way back when. I got the keys when I was 16. It's been a ton of fun. Lift kit, engine rebuild, brake work, carburetor rebuild...

    ECU regulated

I'm not sure what the speed rating is on these tires, but I am not worried about exceeding it while driving my 1.8L Corolla. Tire blowouts generally happen due to increased heat, higher pressure and/or worn tread. I'm more worried about popping a bead when I'm driving my Land Cruiser with...

    ECU regulated

I understand what you're saying. I did it in a safe place, and I was the one driving so of course I accept all the risks. Tire blow outs, animals, and cops are risks no matter what speed you're going.
