Don't think programming would play a factor. Toyota designed the oil pressure system to have as little parasitic drag as possible, so if anything, changing the valving out to allow more oil pressure would be more beneficial than tuning. I'm interested to see how long it holds up for. I know on...

Not possible. They should have though. It isn't like it would have taken rocket science to write code to do that.

Let the engine break in. Mileage will improve once you pass 1000 miles or so. I get 24 mpg but I have a 6MT and tend to drive pretty spirited. On a road trip with the cruise set to 75, I'll hit over 40, easy.

I change mine every 15k but I live in a desert. Every couple months seems excessive.

I haven't heard a squeak when I tap the gas. Can have them look at it or check your belt for wear. The 2ZR-FE manually tensions off the alternator. There is no automatic belt tensioner, but I've seen them go 60,000 miles without slipping, so I don't think that is it.

If the TPS light won't bother you, then you don't need to get the sensors. 15" you should be safe. These use the same brakes as the 10th gen and they had 15" wheels, so you'll be fine.

Definitely. I prefer the cap type oil filter wrench that mounts onto a 3/8" ratchet, especially because on these ones, you actually do use a wrench to tighten them.

Size is the same on all of them because the 2ZR-FE uses cartridges. I use a K&N and it is does good. Whatever you use, make sure that it is rated for 10,000 miles.
