Yeah. Throw a brick at the window, same as any other car. You can get an alarm as a deterrent but it isn't fool proof. The strong majority of people don't call 911 when a car alarm goes off. If you get a unit with a detachable face, that will help.

Most people on the forum are in North America and don't have issues with the CVT. Not much we can do if the issues are isolated to a region we don't live in. Only serious issue I've seen on the forum was from the 1.8 Valvematic in the LE Eco, and it was replaced under warranty.

There are apparent issues with the CVT in China-built Corollas but it isn't a problem anywhere else. A lot of people on the forums have a lot of miles and no issues.

OEM aren't terrible. I've seen worse. And their all weather mats look like Huskys with the Toyota logo on them.

Seems like a ripoff. All it does it change the throttle calibration. It doesn't add power. The Eco mode just stops you from going more than 1/3 throttle and the Sport mode just makes it so that you're at full throttle when halfway on it. That's it.

It's an anti-theft feature. If you did disable it and your car was ever stolen, your insurance would hold you liable.

That and side mirror adjustment. If you can see the side of your car in the side mirrors, they're adjusted wrong. Most places still teach that way too for whatever reason.
