Start with you plungs/wires/coils. If I am not wrong this car comes with single coil and a distributor. check if there is current coming to the wires. Most probably you lost the connection of the coil or may be the coil burned out.

Well there is a clutch in the middle of the pulley. if it is stationary that means that the clutch is not engaged.

Then check the gas pressure. If the gas pressure is very low then the sensor no not allow the compressor to kick in.
