Matteo, I went through 3 air intakes on my Corolla. I was one of many Corolla/Matrix/Celica/XB had problems with the OEM ecu and aftermarket intake. I hated the sticker price on an INJEN air take. However, I do have a INJEN air intake in my Corolla. And YES.. it fits perfectly.

There are tons of DIYs repair on YOUTUBE. If you need a specialty spring tools, you can rent them from your local auto part store or locate your Harbor Freight Tools store. You can eBay a repair kit or a full kit, varies on what you are looking to do.

YOUR brother is correct! All you have to do is YOUTUBE the DIY repairs! It fun and easy! Beside, your Corolla is paid off right! Put some LOVE back into it. YOU take care of it and it will take care of YOU!

knowing what i know now... It's a great daily commuter car, awesome gas mileage & maintenance abuse. BUILT on 90s technology and it is BORING!!!! It was sad that the XRS & TRD supercharge version went hiatus after 2005 :confused: i wish i knew!!

Heat, weather, erosion and time will cause any catalytic converter to go bad. If you have an full after-market exhaust setup, you WILL get codes (this from my personal experience). oh boy.... do u know how to wield?

I would of suggest zerex asian coolant same stuff as Toyota Coolant. You shouldn't have any issue mixing coolant.

Don't worry about it. I personally don't mess with Coolant ratio mix or additives. You can again, refill your radiator with regular water and run your motor (8-10 min). Keep an eye our your temp gauge. Drain your radiator. What you are after is clean water pour out from your radiator. Next...

absolutely! All you have to do is cannibalize and find a donor with rear disc: Corolla XRS 09-10 Matrix 09-14 Vibe 09-10 or just get the rear brake backing plate and slowly get all your brake parts. DO YOUR Research first... ;)
