    Hello, bought 2019 SE Today.

The only 19's I've seen so far are the new 19 Corolla HB models. When you said you bought a new 19 Corolla SE I figured it was a HB and not a sedan. Why would you buy a 19 sedan when you could save thousands on an 18 model. There were no changes for the 19 model year. The 19 Corolla SE HB does...

How long could my 2012 Corolla last?

I've had several of my past Corollas go over 300k miles and one went over 400k miles. My current 2009 Corolla S Turbo now has 98k miles and runs great and shifts with the 5MT are smooth as butter.

A set of factory tires cost me half price

Tires are the biggest safety item and make the biggest difference in braking and handling in all conditions. I never skimp when it come to buying the best tire for the road conditions, no matter the roads.

    2010 Corolla Sport

    Hello, bought 2019 SE Today.

Congrats! The SE comes with 16" wheels and 205/55R16 tires. The XSE has 18" wheels but I think they look too big on the car and the tire sidewall is so short it would give a very rough ride. If you upgrade I thing that a set of 17" wheels with 225/45R17 tires would work perfect! How about some...

    2010 Corolla Sport

You can turbocharge it with the kit from Tyrbokits.com like I did. A nice 100 HP bump in power but I still get around the same MPG when I don;t have my foot into it. there are plenty of suspension improvements you can do also.

    09 2ZR-FE engine swap?

I have the turbo kit from Turbokits.com and it's amazing. I'm running 8.6 psi on my tune and I'm between 225-230 HP from the stock 132 HP. it's worth every penny!

    Exhaust

I had a Borla muffler for many years before I turbocharged my 09 Corolla S. It sounded great with it. Very quiet under 3k rpm and above 3500 rpm it had the most wonderful tone to it. It was deep and not at all high pitched. It was the best sounding 4 cylinder car I've ever owned.

A set of factory tires cost me half price

My 2009 Corolla S came with Goodyear 205/55R16 tires. What junk those were in every aspect. I upgraded to a 225/45R17 General Exclaim UHP with new 17" wheels and what a difference across the board. I would rather spend a little more and have better dry and wet traction along with much better...

    Borla question

It's a double wall tip so you will be fine. It's not touching the bumper either even though it's close.

    Catback exhaust?

For many years I had a Borla on my 2009 Corolla S and it was the best sounding muffler from any Corolla that I came across. The tone was perfect and sounded great above 3500 RPM without any drone at all.

    Catback exhaust?

Just have a muffler shop install a slightly larger piece of pipe from the cat to the axle back exhaust. Same difference. Just don't go amy larger than 2.25" unless you are doing a turbo where you will want a 3" exhaust.

    No More New Car Smell

Today was closer to normal at 85F. Still a little warm for my blood as or normal high is 80F. Tomorrow is now supposed to be around 70F which is a perfect summer temp to me. Good sleeping temps at night in the 50's and the windows open.

Spontaneous Window Crack, 17 Corolla, no prior chips or nicks. Anyone else?

The front strut brace is very simple to install. Even taking off the wiper cowl would take someone 30 minutes the first time. Once you do it you could have it off in 10 minutes. Basic tools are all you need. I've had my TRD FSB installed since 2009 with zero issues. I installed not long after I...

    No More New Car Smell

Our normal high is around 80F in July and August. We normally average 12 days of 90+F temps for the entire summer. Just this month of July though we have had 16 days of temps 90F or higher. I hate this heat so A/C is my best friend! Luckily our high this Thursday is supposed to be around 70F...

    If it's over 80F I'm kicking on the A/C! I like being cool. :D

    2000 Corolla Mobil1 oil?

You should be fine with regular Mobil 1 unless you have some oil leaks. The HM formula has seal swelling ability to help those leaks but if you aren't leaking stick with the normal stuff.

    No More New Car Smell

That's weird as my 2017 Corolla iM is now a year old and when I get in it I can still smell the new car smell in it.

Where did you buy your hood visor?

Not a fan of the bug deflector/wind deflector on the 10th Gen Corolla. It only protects the leading edge of the hood. I much prefer the complete protection provided by a Clear Bra. I had my entire front bumper and hood done and you can't even tell it's on there! Much cleaner look.

Turbo kit cross-compatibility 2018 corolla le

The piggyback harness won't work as you would have to have it worked in directly vs using the plug n play harness. There are other piggyback ECU's that could also be used as others have made it work. You could drive the car off boost which is pretty easy to the tuner and let him do the tune and...
