Catback exhaust?

I couldn't bring myself to spend that much on exhaust for the borla or that weird tip trd,so I bought a used skunk2 muffler and had a muffler shop make a 2.25 axle back.
It's decently loud and not Honda sounding lol. And spent a little less than 200 I could have spent way less but I wanted to hear the skunk2 lol but I'm about to change the set up soon

If you have earphones on you can hear the deepness better.

It does have some drone but it's not to bad seems to have more drone if I have a passenger idk why that is lol. But it doesn't bother me.

Question have you noticed a loss or gain of power by going with a 2.25 axle back ??

i didn't. after the cat theres small 1.75" pipe that will still be the biggest restriction. youl need to replace everything from the first cat back to see any gains i would think.

I put my stock axle back on the other day because im tired of the canister look and there is a big difference in acceleration and its not all in my mind,that stock muffler is the biggest restriction lol

I have a Vibrant 1126 and I had the muffler shop bend the tip of the muffler like a OEM style so that I can avoid the scraping of the tip .

Just have a muffler shop install a slightly larger piece of pipe from the cat to the axle back exhaust. Same difference. Just don't go amy larger than 2.25" unless you are doing a turbo where you will want a 3" exhaust.

For many years I had a Borla on my 2009 Corolla S and it was the best sounding muffler from any Corolla that I came across. The tone was perfect and sounded great above 3500 RPM without any drone at all.

yea i did mine all 2.25 from the first cat back.
