One word of caution, toss an old T-shirt or a towel over the chain you are using with that Come-A-Long, that way if it breaks parts won't go flying; the towel will prevent that from happening. Kevin

I agree with DK. My 2010 turns at about 3K when running 75-80. This is an auto tranny which could use another gear IMO Although all the high-revving doesn't seem to hurt these motors. Kevin

Personally I think disc brakes are easier to change but drums aren't too bad. The first thing I would do is pull the drums off and take a look at the shoes (pads) and see if they even need to be changed. Next check to see if their glazed, which *could* cause the problem you seem to be having...
