No Problem and choosing which exhaust is better is just a personal opinion. Both companies seem to be good and since these are only axleback exhausts, they will both provide a mild performance improvement. So it really comes up to which exhaust you think is better sound wise and/or price wise...

I think Borla is confusing the 10th gen Corolla with the 11th gen Corolla. The 10th gen had the S and XRS trims and only those two trims from the 10th gen Corolla had a straight tip for the exhaust. (The CE and LE on the 10th gen Corolla had a curved tip and no cutout for the exhaust in the rear...

A picture would help on determining what to do about the damage. As for the paint chipping, it's an economy car so cheaper paint will be used to keep cost down.

Actually, all of the Corolla trims have the cutout for the muffler to poke out the rear... CE/L: LE/LE Eco: S: Unless if you're talking about something else, the Borla exhaust should fit any Corolla trim. Also, I'm pretty sure all of the Corolla trims have the same stock exhaust.

Just because you gave up on modding your Corolla doesn't mean that no one will ever mod their Corolla to be fast. There are parts already out for it. Now we just need someone to put them on their Corolla...

I would say that if your dealership isn't doing anything, go to someone who has a code scanner and tell them to scan the OBD to see if your Corolla has any codes.
