    USB Media - Super Slow

And it was the same with DVD-Rs filled with MP3's. The more full the disc was, the longer indexing took.

    USB Media - Super Slow

I think it looks for the address of the cluster where the track starts, and that is why it is physical size and not file amount dependent. Only thing I can think of that explains it. Yeah, my Pioneer ONLY started indexing when you were in CD or USB mode ... but if you left the mode and went...

It's hard letting go of your first car.

    USB Media - Super Slow

This was specifically in the section for USB sticks. 1 second per GB actually isn't that bad. In my Pioneer, it would take about 10 seconds or so for a 4GB USB stick, while a 4.7 GB DVD-R took over a minute. The difference is most likely static indexing and loading versus dynamic. The stereo...

    Disable Beeping/Chime...HELP!

Someone else on a forum asked the same question. He stated that the dealership told him that they could not be disabled (after he was referred to the dealership). You just gotta live with them.

Jolly, didn't think about it in that way. Good point. TigerHeli, I dunno why they do that either ... maybe it helps cut down on the random seek times?

    Scan Gauge II Review

The Earthquake in Mexicali didn't cause San Andreas fault to go, and that one was pretty severe (registered a 7.8 and I felt it ~300 miles from the epicenter in Palm Desert, felt the aftershock too). And Palm Desert is in the southern end of San Andreas Fault.

Rattling Noise When Car Warmed Up and Accelerated Significantly

What year Corolla? What about the engine? If the clutch grabs instantly after the slightest release of the pedal, that could be a leaking clutch slave cylinder or clutch master cylinder, or air in the clutch line (assuming you have a hydraulic clutch system). As far as as the rattling, there...

2009 Corolla S Mass Air Flow Wiring

E2G is pin 116 on the PCM. The black wire that has 12 V at ground is the +B wire, so you're correct.

    USB Media - Super Slow

You're right Jolly and TigerHeli, I forgot that FAT32 went up to 2TB. I would still stick with NTFS regardless. The drive space being less than announced; however, has nothing to do with the formatting, but with how space is calculated in a binary numerical system versus a decimal numerical...
