I don't think I woulda have gotten that low with the 6MT. Dealers here order so few of them that they don't stay on the lots long. They'd rather wait three days and get what they want for it from someone else. I was surprised I got $1,500 knocked off MSRP before I even stepped foot on the lot.

Yup. I held mine with a screwdriver while I went to town on the cap. You can use a standard oil filter wrench on it as well but the socket would be best (and I noticed I marked up the cap with the filter wrench so I'll probably get the socket for it).

I don't see cracks on slotted rotors unless they get beat to hell and back. The slots help keep the rotors cool, which is what causes cracking in the first place. Cross drilled rotors crack easily because you have little metal in between each hole, and that is their weak spot. Cross drilled...
