Yoi should attach a link or at the very least a picture of which one exactly your talking about they're multiple different brands and types on amazon. It could help us get a better idea if we knew which one exactly your looking into.

Never done anything like this but I'm sure your also going to need a shift handle with the overdrive button. Also our trans ecu and engine ecu are the same ecu so you'll need to get a new engine ecu out of a 4 speed tans vehicle.

Depending on how many miles are on that thing, most likely because you disconnected the battery, I would recommend cleaning out your throttle body!

Looks like a ground, looking at the picture; that nut on the right side with the piece of metal under it looks broken I believe there's a connector mounted to that. Which has a single wire that connects to it which may be that wire.

If your hazard work, make sure the lights are flashing if they are I would start by checking your switch. Make sure all other functions are working headlights, high beams even fog lights if equipped. If they are I would take your steering column aprart and check your contact points.

It should be located on the left side of your steering wheel column. If it isn't there your vechile is not equipped with that option.

A friend of mine I use to work with told me 7th gen celica seats are direct bolt on to 8th gen Corolla seats he said all 4 holes line right up. As my seats are fine for me and in pretty good shape I've never considered trying this. But if you do please let me know how it goes

What Mikeyb is recommend can help but also check injectors if you have a clogged or injector not pulsing corrrectly this can cause a misfire and lean codes.
