    Any special Corollas out there?

Haha crazy man but good for you show us some pictures of your progress. Never really thought of a corolla as an expedition type of vechile. Definitely add light bars and you didn't mention what year Corolla but if you have a face lift model some fog lights as well.

Greetings from a 1999 Corolla Owner!

That's exactly your problem because it's not springing back all the way the vehicle thinks you have your seat belt on. Yes they do tend to burn oil especially when oil exchange internvals are not done as recommended. PCV can help and well as adding some treatment every oil change. I got my...

oil not registering after oil pan reseal

Add more oil. Not all your oil drains when you do an oil change but when you remove the pan there is oil that sits in it that will need to be replaced when going back together for example it may need 4 quarts or 4.2 quarts with that extra oil that sits in the oil pan.

1991 Corolla (4afe 1st generation) Need Bracket Function and Location

I would also suggest posting a picture but judging from what I can recall from my experinace with Toyota timing belt jobs I would guess it's the bracket that goes from your alternator to the water pump housing. May be a 14mm on the alternator slide it slides into and a stud that may stick out...

what do i need to Transmission swap auto to stick 1993 toyota corolla

A manual isn't going to give you a power increase maybe better response but that about it. That's a lot of work to and would recommend only if you have the proper equipment and tools. Also I would say just buy a manual, for a 93 you would spend less if you buy a manual one than install a manual...

    96 corolla

Congratulations on reaching that mileage that's great! Honestly before I can give you my opinion I would ask why you want to swap? I would say keep maintaining it and reach a million miles! Haha It's not cheap to do and may end up costing you more than the car itself may be work but if I had to...

Greetings from a 1999 Corolla Owner!

    1. If you vehicle is equipped with a factory alarm system your button should look like this. This is a picture I pulled of the Internet but it is how these generation Corollas have it here in the states. Usually located under parking brake. And it should flash when active although the light...

    04 Corolla Long ft 25%-40%

Not sure either but if you injector is not spraying as much as it should this could cause that lean condition and more heat to that area. If everything is fine leave it for now until it acts up again. Also about your intake gasket even though you replaced you should to check for leaks my intake...

    04 Corolla Long ft 25%-40%

You may have a bad injector,I had the same code on my 01 and I replaced all spark plugs with factory iridium and tested my fuel injectors. Cylinder 1 on mine was not pulsing the same as the others, of course this was my last resort before that I checked for any intake or exhaust leaks, replaced...

Looking for the driver side door panel for a 2002 model

You best bet is to go to your local self serve salvage yard. I found a passenger side one there that I needed and it was in very good condition. Took me two years to find it but it's only cuz my interior is black and it's tan is the most common color. If tan is your color I'm sure you'll find...

Greetings from a 1999 Corolla Owner!

First off welcome! And congratulations on your new buy! Second I'm assuming your not in the US since your miles are in km first? I live in the US so most of my knowledge is US based. Now to answer your questions! 1. I don't know how much that would be but it would probably be cheaper to take...

    Dash board clock not working

Make sure you don't have any wires stretched or even possibly cut, check all wires for clock connector are in it properly. Also check fuses there may be one for the clock not sure. After all that is don't apply power to the clocks you have to verify they work and it isn't your car. Since this...

Just bought a 1999 corolla, had some questions!

Scrape noise could be something loose like a fender liner rubbing or something judging by your description I would not guess tires or wheel bearing due to your wording. Headliner does tend to begin to sag haven't found a remedy that permanently works yet but headliner glue does temporarly hold...

What gasket is this leak from?

That's your valve cover gasket, judging by the pictures I'd say you have a 1zz-fe engine. I could be wrong but it's more likely you are burning this oil not leaking a 1quart every 1000 miles would look more severe than that. Also these engine are known for burning oil.

    93 DX fuel consumption

I'm impressed with how detailed your concern is! Nice! Something I can tell u is similar to what Neil mentioned previously when your gas says half that doesn't mean exactly half your gas tank is not a perfect square or rectangle or any shape like that as where half a tank would be half. Your...

    Shaking problem

If I understand it correctly, you feel vibration even applying your brake mainly on long trips? This is caused by warpage on your rotors and drums. If you feel a shimmy while braking on the steering wheel, then your front rotors are warped and will need to be re-surfaced or replaced. If you feel...

Misses, runs rough when damp or raining 1996 Corolla 1.8 Auto. 224K Miles

If it only does this when damp or raining I'd check for any leaks, all possible ways that water may be entering the engine this can/will cause a misfire. Also 96 is OBD ll so I would check to see which cylinders are misfiring
