How install GPS in Corolla 2017 SE

The head units in the 2013 are different. Look similar but the non-nav can't be used for nav, need to have the other unit. Not sure if the is the case in the new vehicles but I don't think Toyota would change that, there is a reason it cost more for nav and not just a simple software load.

    '11 rear bumper on a '09

Should be an easy thing to do. However, you will need the 2011 lights as they are different. You might have to check the mounting points just under the lights as they may need to be changed, if they can. That being said the lights on the trunk lid will be miss-matched and if you are in North...

How install GPS in Corolla 2017 SE

IT should be plug and play. Get a head unit with GPS and plug into your ride. Might have to get it coded by the dealer to your car but should work. Honestly though it is cheaper to get a Garmin or Magellan with life time map updates. Or he app if it works.

Hello everyone, I need your help!

Toyota, Jeep, Meh they are both cars right? Anyway, if your Jeep is new I suggest talking to the dealer about your broken light. I don't see anything physically wrong with the light, as per picture, so it can be a blown bulb or maybe even the wiring has disconnected or broken, either way it may...

    Corolla 2017 heated steering wheel.

I would think, just like the rear defrost, there would be a time setting that will turn off the heater. However It would be longer than a minute and should not smell. When my rear defrost turns off it does not smell. I would insist with the dealer, maybe even got to another dealer, what you are...

Should I rotate my tires ?

Yes, rotate. Front tires wear differently. When turning one side wears on the outside while the other side will experience wear on the inside. When you break the weight shifts forward and you tires have to withstand that force. The front tires carry more weight. Fronts typically wear faster. By...

    Best convex mirror for Corolla?

if you adjust your mirrors out you eliminate blind spots. I just have a sliver of the side of my car in the mirror. I can track a vehicle in my centre mirror, as it passes the ass end is just in the left side of centre mirror and the front is in my side mirror. When he is next to me his ass end...

I stand corrected, I just checked and it is advance fuel economy I have used. And yes supercharged, it is indeed a bummer.

What Did You Do to Your Corolla Today?

I found out recently I was way over do for a gear oil change. I just got it done myself about hour ago. I took the car for a rip around the block and the difference is very noticeable.

First time Corrola owner: any tips/advice ?

Welcome, congrats on the good buy. I drive the same car, but a five speed. I am at 79 and half thousand k's. I don't do the math (to lazy) but my dash is saying I'm averaging 6.8 lts per 100 kms. I have not even change the brakes pads or linings yet. All it has asked of me is oil, filter and...

    Oil Change

I have been using Mobil 1, not sure if it is advance fuel economy or not, and to be honest I have used Fram (yes, I know I will likely get flack) synthetic oil filter. I think it is the mid grade one. you got a pick of the reg, mid grade and top of the line Fram. I once bought the Mobil 1...

2010 Toyota Corolla - Water Pump Replacement

I would get a second or third opinion on this. Not uncommon for oil change shops to drum up business by stating a car needs this or that. I many cases the customer is duped into this and they don't even replace anything, just charge you for it. I have not replace a water pump on a corolla yet...

    Oil Change

Owners manual tells you what you need. Very easy to do, I change my 2013 all the time. 0w -20 is what you need (should be the same as the 2013 but check cap and manual) One thing I will say is to invest in a oil filter wrench and before you start to try to twist it off, be sure to remove the...

2011 Corolla LE Interior Part Replacement

I have a blemish like that in my car as well. What I have done in the past (with other cars) is to go to a wrecker. Check out the wrecked Rollas they have in stock. If you find that piece that is in good shape just pull it out and you got it for your car. Just check Vin to be sure it is a...

    Show It Off!

I removed the flixidip from the front grill few days ago. I really liked the look, but not the flexidip. Just did not like hoe it faded. What i want to do is to pull the grill of a grey wrecked car and swap it out. However the practical and cheap side of me says why change/fix what is not...

2017 Corolla Safety Sense Pre-Collision System

I just watched the Video on it at Toyota Canada's website. When it detects that you are to close, between 10km and 180km to a vehicle in front of you, or detects a pedestrian between 10km to 80 km, it warns you to brake, audibly and visually. When you hit the brakes it can apply more pressure to...
