    2012 Corolladaytime driving lights:

what kinda bulb is it? polarity my be reversed. If you can try unplugging and turning it 90 degrees and plugging in again. I'm thinking sorta like an LED bulb. it will only work one way. It may be worth a try

    Change wheels size??? 2018

I would say yes. The se does not have any bigger brake calipers so there should be no clearance issues. Toyota is not going to develop different hubs and all the associated components on the corolla. The only thing I can think of is the speedometer calibration may be different between the two...

Side view mirror slides back and forth

Well, without taking it apart it would be hard to say. Likely some support piece was broken. you could take the mirror apart and see if the part can be purchased. What you can also look into doing is pulling one off of a wrecked vehicle and change the painted cover. Getting one from a wrecker...

    Back Up Camera, Finally

It was cheep for me cuz I already have the screen. Maybe the stock head unit can plug in play in your daughters car and then just a matter of getting the cam.

Will the 2013 factory radio swap out for the 2010

As far as fitting, I would think it would. I'm sure the mounting points were not changed. You would need the trim around the radio as well. Now as far as plug and play? that I can't answer as I am no audiophile. I guess if all the plugs in the back are the same then it should work but you might...

    Back Up Camera, Finally

I finished the install yesterday morning. I took me a few days because I decided to do a few extra things while I was at it. I noticed the heads on the retaining bolts for the trim were rusting, so I cleaned them up, primed, painted and shot a bit of clear on them so the rust would not tarnish...

    Back Up Camera, Finally

I have been wanting and searching for a back up camera for my 2013 Corolla but I never liked the prices on them. For some reason they are not as cheap in Canada as they are in the US, and just the factory harness seemed to be as much or more expensive than cameras available on EBAY. I found one...

Possible 2013 Corolla S purchase (Advice Needed)

I'm in Canada so it would be a bit different here. My first question would be why only 16000 miles? Who owned it? why was it not driven? Check history for accidents. Check maintenance history on it. I have a 2013 and love it, I've change oil and filters, replaced the serpentine belt, only...

    How about android head unit?

If you search youtube lots of videos will come up. As stated before, matching the wires to the proper harness adapter is the "hardest" part and really, it's not hard. You can search the net to find out what each color wire is for and match that to the head unit and the rest is plug in and off to...

    kaizen

Well, I ordered the 6x9 baffles sooner than I planed. Reason I wanted to do the rears is because I am always worried I will pull the wires loose when I am loading the trunk, only because I have done so in the past. Baffles were sitting at my door this morning when I left for work and when I got...

As the years pile on my rolla gets older and older, as do I. I seems the more little rattles I get rid of, the more seem to be noticeable. Not sure if they are new or just me simply not noticing them before. Over last winter I noticed a rattle from the right front door. Not very loud but just...

    Change Front Brake Rotors

I have the same Jack. But honestly drilled rotors are not necessary. If the vehicle is stock then just use regular rotors. However, that is just my opinion. If drilled is what you want I would just check what you local auto parts store should do just fine.

How long could my 2012 Corolla last?

I got just over 96k kms on my 2013 manual tranny. All I have done is oil, oil filter, air filter changes. I change the Tranny oil not long ago, unfortunately I did not read the interval on tranny fluid change (every 32k) and changed it way late. I have not even done the brakes yet. I am buying...

Airbag Light on after car flooded?

Water being that high would/could cause many other problems. The car may seem ok now but there is no telling what could be wrong. It sucks but an insurance claim should be looked into. You can always pick up a good used Corolla, or use the insurance for down payment on a new rolla.

    Headlights

I think the auto headlights were only a Canadian thing for the 2009-2013 models. I have them on my 2013 S, and also have push button start. I may be wrong but all the research I have done suggests those two options (auto headlights, push button start) were not available in the US. As far as...

    DIY Trunk Organizer

Well, in the last two days I have done some more to my trunk divider. There has been a couple changes since my first picture. long ago I ripped the 2x4's in half and made the divider fixed, not in two pieces as originally and it sat at half the height. I was never really happy about the fact...

    2ZR-FE Oil Change

I don't buy much off the internet. Specially something that is expensive and is important. I am old school and buy what I need in the stores. I personally don't feel comfortable buying the oil off the net, unless I order it form a store website and pick it up in store.
