This is the mistake I made, but I'm still very satisfied with the HPS SRI. The JetChip MAFS has also helped considerably.

Looks a lot like the HPS short ram intake. You should get the JetChip mass air flow sensor to go with. It'll help your throttle response. ;)

I agree that this is messed up about the horsepower/performance, but there are far more differences in the S than in the L/LE models than the front end. You can get the fog lights on the LE, but you cannot get the turn signal mirrors. The rims are different, & also also bigger. 17x7 rather...

I've been looking at the first one myself. It's a little more aggressive than link B, but still pretty subtle.

All they did was check my alignment after I got new wheels & tires. Other than that, they didn't do jack!

I have to agree. I complained over serious lag with my HPS SRI until I installed the aftermarket MAFS. I've had the SRI in with the OEM MAFS for almost a year. I installed the JetChip MAFS a few weeks ago, & there's a very definite defference! Primarily no more lag!!!

I highly doubt it, since that's a slightly different model engine. They used the 2ZZ-GE in the Lotus, not the 2ZR-FE that they Corolla uses. Not sure what the exact differences are though between the 2 engines. I just know that you need a low compression ratio to run a supercharger.

I thought so. I'm looking at that low compression engine they got, but I'm still considering the 2ZZ-GE that they have. That's the engine that they supercharged for use in the Lotus.

Carbon fiber would look really good I think. Not to mention that it's a LOT lighter than even the aluminum. Plus you don't have to worry about the paint chipping off. ;)

I didn't have to pull the fender off to remove the OEM intake. Just had to pull the battery out, & be a little aggressive with it. :p Once that's out, there's plenty of room in there! I can even reach the fog light without disconnecting the battery. ;)

Megan Racing has one, & I saw another full carbon fiber GT wing somewhere... Only problem is that it's like $600! Besides, something like that would defeat my sleeper look...
