    LED Turn Signal Mirrors

Possible that it needs to be heated in an oven to be split apart like a headlight housing, but it is hard to tell. Can you get more angles on that assembly or did you already put it back?

    LED Turn Signal Mirrors

I could have sworn I saw it on the TIS website. Is the plastic lens clipped onto the main housing somehow? I don't see why it would be cost effective for them to seal the bulb and make it non-replaceable.

That's why I set the cruise control and move my foot away from the throttle.

1996 Corolla DX Instrument Cluster Swap

Tachometer reads off the crankshaft position sensor on modern cars. I'm not sure if they have the same harness (tach versus non-tach), but you have the sensor regardless.

    Three Codes Popped Up P0300/P0302/P0446

Valve cover gaskets are usually pretty straightforward. Glad you gapped the plugs and got the check engine light to clear. Drive it a couple more times. The battery being unpligged may have cleared the codes. #2 misfire probably won't come back but the others may unless it was caused by the...

2010 Corolla - Front and Rear Placement for Hydraulic Jack

No idea, but when I have had a car on 4 jackstands, I have never had a car fall off, but I always shake it before removing the tires to be sure the car isn't going anywhere. If it doesn't move when you shake it, the only way it is coming down is if it gets crashed into.

Thinking About Buying A New Corolla But Have Question

If it downshifts on a downhill, then the car is engine braking to keep the car from going above your set speed.

Thinking About Buying A New Corolla But Have Question

That isn't a glitch, just the car preferring 20% throttle at a lower gear (say 5th) as opposed to WOT in 7th. You actually get better mileage downshifting up steep grades and using less throttle than staying WOT in highest gear.

    You Went How Fast?!

Even if you took the governor off ... you might hit 125 on a long straight and the car would be out of breath at that speed. As far as 140 goes ... speed governor off, a 10° downhill grade, and 60 m.p.h. tailwind, although I wouldn't trust the stock caster setting at that speed, LOL!

    You Went How Fast?!

My girl is pretty good about my antics, but every once in a while I catch her off guard. The one thing she hated was threshold braking when I got that EBC set in the Matrix, LOL!

    You Went How Fast?!

For Corollas, I hit the speed governor at 115 m.p.h., same with the Matrix. For Mustangs, my '96 GT saw 145 m.p.h. and my '82 GT saw 150 m.p.h.

You should be able to twist it out. Said that on the TIS website when I looked it up.
