Just paint them, should only take a few hours and under $50 bucks in paint.

Not much in performance, and I have yet to find a real performance chip for it. I really want one!

Anyone replace the upper door tweeter? is it worth it?

Considering the Borla Exhaust is only 12 bucks more, I would just them.

I am curious if the tweeter replacement is worth it, it's really easy to get to, just pop the panel off. I guess I will install the speakers and see if it sounds good.

You should try it yourself, I just picked up top-end Polk speakers for $150 for all 4, going to install them myself when they arrive.

It's quite easy to remove the door panel and check it out. I would highly recommend a speaker upgrade. I just purchased new speakers for mine, the stock speakers are terrible.

I wish I knew the answer to your question, but I would think it would be best to upgrade your transmission first. Got any pics, would love to see your car!
