Winter wheels question

I just got a 2015 Corolla CE (in Canada). Loving it so far. I still have the winter tires, almost new, from my previous car, a Lexus IS300. They are mounted on steel wheels, with a 5 bolt pattern. Can these wheels and tires be used on my Corolla? The numbers on the winter tires are 225/45R15. Any help is appreciated.

Sounds like it will fit but you need to check if the bolt pattern are the same. Your corolla bolt pattern is 5×100 I don't know about the lexus if it uses the same bolt pattern.

I believe the bolt pattern on the steel wheels is 5x114.3
Also I made a mistake in my first post, the tires are R17

Yea the rim size it fine but the rim bolt pattern from is little bit to far apart than the corolla

According to wheel-size.cxx the Corolla can have both 5x100 and 5x114.3

Oh really that's good then now hopefully the 225 won't be to wide for your car. I'm thinking of buying snow tires for my corolla s before the next winter comes.

Ah, yeah I think the width may be the problem
