White Deposit on Bonnet Hood - 2011 Corolla

My Toyota corolla 2011 has an accumulation of white deposit (chemical looking precipitate) on the bonnet hood. I was advised to wash this off. However, after two engine washes, the deposit keeps re-accumulating. Any helpful ideas will be appreciated

Closely check the area the car is being parked in for the source of the white deposits.

Picture. Best get to it before it eats past the clear coat. from degreaser of cleaning the engine?

that deposit is white grease, wont damage anything but do wipe it to keep clean, it is to keep the seal from cracking or getting brittle.

Clear coat. is on there so make sure it is clear coat friendly

It sounds similar to what I was having happen and at one point I started to see hints of pink/red in it, which pointed me to the water pump. My water pump was leaking and had to be replaced.
