Whining Noise When Cold

All have missed the point, I asked about the whine in my corolla's on start-up.
goes away when warmed up. Quite high mileage. run on Castrol GTX
Anybody had that? Comments?

john coutts - Need more information. How many miles are on the car? Is this noise a new sound, or has it gotten progressively worse? Have you been able to locate where the noise is coming from?
