Whats up and some advice!

Hey guys names Brandon I'm in the process of buying a toyota corolla 1987 fx16 gts. My biggest problem is motor isn't good at all. I'm trying to figure out what my best, and most in-expensive option is. Obviously rebuilding the motor or getting a new motor, but just wondering if anyone here has had any experience doing either with the 4A-GE 1.6L

Welcome! Unfortunately I've never worked with a Corolla, but I did rebuild one on a Camry. It kind of all depends on your time and $$ restraints. Anyway, good luck!

A good used engine will be the most cost effective way to go. At the below website, you'll find hundreds if not thousands of good used engines to choose from. Good luck with it.
