Living in Colorado and trying to find a good mechanic that can keep my Corolla running ( best car I've ever owned). The "'specialist" I go to now seems to be unreasonably expensive for such an older car, and I think he sees a woman come in the door and figures he can make his mortgage payment....

HI, new to this Corolla forum

1989 Corolla SR5. Carb, 5 speed stick, 375,000 miles. Sad to say wife just had a small wreck, have to replace the passenger side fender, bumper, and some lights... we also gave our daughter a 1993 Camry LE to drive for school.

Just can't get a new car now,, the corolla has lots of new parts, and decided to try to squeeze a few more miles. But, it's pretty worn, with all those miles.
