Come on gang, this is a safety item, affects anyone who would be behind you that can't see your brake lights and consequently rear-ends your car, hurting someone or worse. Common sense. Please don't do this.

Totally agree. I particular find dumb when people "black out" or paint the the rear lights for a particular look and the reflective parts are painted over. My one thought is how will anyone see the parked car at night at distance? Plus in most cases it looks terrible anyway.
