"Reset" Engine Immobilizer System

#1
I'm having a huge problem! I bought a 2013 Corolla LE last Saturday from a used car dealer. First note: The battery had some corrosion, so I cleaned it. Car ran fine all week. I went to the locksmith today to have the keypad programmed since no functions on it were working. He couldn't get it to work so I puchased a new one which he programmed. I used it twice during the day and all was good. I went to go back out this afternoon and I have absolutely no power in the car. Even the power switches for the door locks don't work. Is this because the engine immobilizer system kicked in? If so how do I reset it? I have no other vehicle to use.

the chip does not kill power, the chip does not allow the car to start when it is not near the device that needs to communicate.

If you got no power, the first thing I check is your battery. I understand we are not there with you, and we have to take your word for it.

You cleaned the terminals, the electrolytes can eat clothing...

Let us know your report when you get her running?
