2009 Corolla Horn trouble

One morning, someone did a hit and run on my front bumper when I was in the gym. When I discovered the damage, the front grill was almost snapped off, and the Toyota Logo was crushed in half.
My horn hasn't been working ever since.
When I called a shop, they suggested looking under the hood for sensors that could be messing with the horn.

Any idea what he's talking about? Should I just go ahead and replace the horn and see if that works?
