Hey guys!
I'm going to start modding my LE soon, and I'd like to get it PlastiDipped.
Now do you guys think I should just paint the car myself, or get it done? Also, do you guys know anyone in South Florida( Fort Lauderdale- Miami) that is good at it?
When I was a kid, I remember my uncle painting his VW Bug himself. It turned out pretty good, you could barely see the lines from the paintbrush he used.
Seriously though, if you have to ask, you probly shouldn't be painting a car.
I have been plasti-dipping cars for almost 2 years. I have done some of my friends cars and my previous car. Plasti-dipping is the best bet because you can experiment with different colors. If you use actual paint to paint your car you would have to change your registration(expensive) and notify the insurance company. It also depends on what you want to plasti-dip the car with. Go to dipyourcar.com and see what they have, join the forum and you can see the different colors/combos/etc. of peoples experiments. It is also MUCH MUCH cheaper than actually painting the car. I live in the Boca/Pompano area in FL.
