Non-OEM control arms unsafe?

Hi,

I had a front-end accident a while back, and during an inspection the dealer told me that my front control arms are in very bad condition, and a rear wheel bearing and the radiator should be replaced.

Looking at rock auto, I am concerned about going with non-OEM for the control arms.

I see brands like Beck&Arnley, MAS, and Mevotech for around $50 each. From the dealer, each is $150 (and then I'd need bushings.) AutoZone brand doesn't inspire much confidence either.

Is the extra price necessary?

what the hell is OEM? ssshhhh... they just want to make $$$ off you. Personally, I would just get entire front control arm kit (Left & Right) off eBay and an Energy Suspension Master Kit Bushing do it myself.
