New speakers

I have searched the web for a solution but without succes. I hope you guys can help me.

I have a set of JBL P6560 6,5" front speakers. But I cant find a frame that fits. Does anyone have any suggestion?

I installed the same size using the original door panel. Drilled new holes in the door and then trimmed off the inside of the plastic panel around the original speaker cover with dikes to make room. It's a tight squeeze, but it all went back together and appears factory!

Thanks for the reply but as far as I could see when I had it taken apart, the speakers would get in the way of the window if it was rolled down

Now that you mention it, you are correct. It's been a while back, but I believe I had to remove and reuse the factory speaker spacers, which in turn is why I had to trim the door panels.

That makes sense. When I have the time I will try out that guide and see if it works

What size speakers are installed from the factory? I need to replace all four of mine, so I want to make it as smooth and painless as possible.

Evening Patrick. Best I can remember they were 5 1/4" factory. You'll still probably need to reuse the spacers from the original speakers to clear the window track.
