New Drivers Seat Needed

Greetings, this is my first post.

My sister has a 3 door Corolla hatchback year 2004, 54 reg.
1600 cc engine petrol vvt.

The driver seat has been damaged, apparently a new driver seat and slider are needed.
The cost of a new seat is a lot so she went the secondhand route via Ebay.

She has had two seats sent to her and both have been wrong so my question is if you were looking for a secondhand seat where would you go?

It sounds like a bit of a nightmare buying seats, there seem to be quite a few different ones to choose from. The seat has two electrical plugs underneath it.

What would you do if you needed a replacement seat but didn't want to pay the £800 for a new one?
Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated.

A part like a seat is pretty specific to the vehicle i.e. color of seat fabric and if is a power seat or a manual seat. It may be easier to sit and call around some local salvage yards and find a replacement that way. Once you find one that has one ask them if they can remove it for you so that you can just go and pick up one.
