A little about me first... I've been a Toyota owner for 10 years now. I started with an Echo CE '05, then switched to a Matrix '10. Now that the lease is over, I'm buying the Corolla S '15 with the upgrade package.
I don't even have my new car yet (but I'm dying to get it... Monday the 23rd at most!) and I'm already shopping for replacement speakers!
Now, before I go crazy and buy any speakers, I'd like to know what fits in the speaker locations in the doors. I believe 6.5' will fit but I'm not sure about the depth of the speaker. I've seen an install with 6.5" and the depth was 2 1/8" and they would fit. My question to you is, what is the maximum depth I could go? I spotted some nice speakers but the depth is at 2 1/4".
