I ordered splash guards for my 2012 S model from BAMWholseparts. I gave them my VIN to make sure that they were to fit my vehicle and received PT769-02110 kit.
I went to put them on today and I don't think they are correct. I started on the driver's side front to install. I just can't see how they would fit unless the guard went behind the Ground effect rocker cover. If I try to put it over the ground effects, I will have to distort the guard quite a bit in order for it to fit on the mounting screws as per instructions.
Does anyone have any experience with this? Did I get the wrong part?
Any help would be appreciated.
