Miles to empty confusion

Should the digital read of miles-to-empty go off skew from the empty/full needle? I put gas in and the fuel range no longer goes up, but the needle will rise. Is repair needed?

Is this still happening or has it corrected? I drive each and every day ifI were not to have a correct read out I figure out if I havea short?

Ah, you found my unanswered post! Yes, this is still going on. I figured the light must be referring to it.

I think you're unto something, or maybe it's the fuse. I filled up today so it's probably also necessary to be at a certain level of gas for the computer to read accurately, because it shows the reading now.
