Map Light help

Does anyone know how to install the map light bulbs and trunk bulb?

Trunk Bulb is easy. Push in pin and lower plastic cage.

Map lights depend. Do you have a sunroof or not?

No sunroof

Easy then. Use a small flathead to pop the lens off. You'll see the notches for it.

And just push em in?

ok so i guess im missing that little black piece thats wrapped around the bulbs.. any ideas on where i could get a replacement?

Black piece that wrapped around the bulb? Don't recall seeing on for my car.

If it's trim, only the dealer will have it.

Ah alright. Yeah something like that only a dealership will have. If it doesn't affect light output, I'd leave it be.

well the bulb doesnt even unless i have that black piece im guessing. my dad said it was a connector. but idk.. also, if i dont have the map lights in then the dome light and trunk light doesnt work from what i noticed. dealerships charge a butt load tho.

I don't know how you could lose that though.. Did it fall somewhere up into the housing?
