Loss of am fm with replaced factory head unit

So I cracked my touchscreen on my factory stereo. I went to a junkyard and got a factory replacement. Same serial/ model number and front plate model number. Installation was fairly simple. Simple plug and play. I hooked the new replacement up and everything works fin except the am fm. I am certain I've hooked everything up properly. Is there anything I could be missing? 2014 corolla LE basic touchscreen no entune

There's something up with these tuners. A lot of people here have complained about radio reception. I'm having similar issues whenever I disconnect the battery. Static for a while and then the signal will eventually return.
