Kindly question what for is this hole and what is wrong? A lot of oil leakage from this hole. There is no thread inside. At the end of this hole there is a metal, if i touch "pssss" is heard one time.
Corolla E12, 2006, 1.4D4D.
When manufacturing oil channels sometimes cross drillings are made and then plugged by pressing a metal bit into it. But that almost looks like a bolt hole, that's been stripped and sheared off.

What should be in this hole? Can I seal this hole? Would sealing be dangerous for the gearbox? Can pressure inside the gearbox destroy gearbox's seals?
Now I put a rubber hose into this hole and the second end of rubber hose is caught to accumulator... for venting gearbox
