I would like to put bigger rims and tires on my 2000 corolla without any modifications. The stock wheels and tires are very narrow and have terrible traction. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Remember that the bigger the tire and rim size you use it will throw your alignment off, yes you will have more traction but the turning radio will be larger. Just don't go more than 215 for the width of the tire. It will rub on the fender. Bigger rim gives you more control but if the rim is heavy on weight it will cause to use more fuel to move it from a stop position (not counting your speedometer will be a little off too). If you are ok with all this, go ahead. Remember: the only one that needs to like what you drive and how it feels it is you.
