Interior LED Dome Lights

#2
You have the moonroof if I remember right, so the proper way to get to the map lights is to use a puller to remove the moonroof switch and light assembly, then unscrew the map light portion, then remove the lens to get to the bulbs; however, if you are gentle, you can use a small screwdriver wrapped in electrical tape, and peel the lens away from the trim enough to get another small screwdriver in there and gently pull the six tabs toward you (two in front, rear, and one on left and right; if you look at the lens straight on, you can clearly see the mark where the tabs are at on the edges). Pop all six tabs, remove the lens, pull the bulbs, replace, and snap the lens back into place.

The dome light is a snap. You'll see two holes where you can put a flat head screwdriver at. Put the screwdriver you used for the map lights in there and gently pry the lens away from the trim, and it will come down (be sure to have your hand under it), then use your finger to push in the metal tab and the bulb should drop down (you might have to coax it with a screwdriver to do this).

These are the bulbs I used for the map lights (2):

Don't forget that LEDs are polarity sensitive, so make sure they work before you snap anything back in. If it doesn't work, flip it, then it should work.

I'll never use regular bulbs again. It helps so much, especially trying to find something on the floor of the car that the incandescent bulbs would never, ever light up.

Plus, full spectrum lighting is easier on your eyes and studies have shown that full spectrum lighting helps those with Seasonal Affective Disorder, not to mention that bluish white light makes everything appear more clean. I use LED not just for my car, but for my house as well.
