Install cruise control corolla 2011 gli help!

Hey guys,

I have corolla 2011 gli 1.6L automatic

I want to install cruise control on my car but i cant figure out how I’m taking out the wheel.. i see something like a little stick the attached to this piece of metal but its just dont come off

Mine had torx screws to loosen. Yours looks completely different. Looks a little like this Prius video.
