Increased Fuel Consumption

Hey everyone,

I own a toyota corolla 2009 CE. I used to get around 700-750 Kms for a full tank. I recently went to Toyota dealership in Canada and after changing the Oil filter and lube oil, i reset my counters. I just got 350 kms for a full tank which is surprisingly very high. The mechanic told me that we will change your air filter if there was any problem, but they said that Air Filter is clean and fine for now.

Can someone suggest me what to do? What to check and how? What could possibly the reasons be?

wow, are you sure on the numbers? I drive a 2013 and while I am loving the mileage I have never seen anything close to 700kms to a tank. at most If I fill up completely is 525 ish.

I have a 2011 toyota corolla and I have the same problem as you do. It used to get 360+ miles full tank. Recently, I noticed it dropped to 260+ miles. Any ideas what is the problem?
