Increase driver's seat height?

Is this generation of the Corolla seat attached in a simple way (like four bolts straight down through the rails) that you could bolt some 1/2" or 1" spacers under the rails and raise the height?

I'm trying to buy one for a short person... the pump doesn't give quite enough height. If we could raise it a little more, it would be a good choice.

I believe so. Whatever you do, use Grade 8 bolts minimum and I would use machined spacers that hug the bolt snugly. It will be a little costly but it's better than having the seat come off in an accident.

There will be one wire for the airbag you'll have to unplug as well. Make sure the battery has been disconnected for at least 10 minutes first.
