Hydraulic hood struts

Has anyone installed or thought about installing hydraulic hood lifts?
I just bought some from eBay.

Not so bad. Passenger side was much easier, all though one of the hood bolts was stripped. I'll need to re thread and buy a new bolt. Minor trimming on the plastic.
Drivers side kinda sucked. It was the first side I did. Had to trim some plastic where it lays when the hood is closed and the extra metal from the fender was rubbing. Rolled the metal over more until it stopped rubbing but the damage was done. Just a little of the paint scraped off of the hood lift. I'll fix it later.

Maybe for the Altis only?
The front structure of the car looks different than ours.

It can be. But I can't post a link because I'm new here. It can be Altis because of difference of models produced for different markets. These kits tested on International versions of corollas. It thought difference in bampers and front hood deco only. You can see International version and USA version of Corollas in wikipedia, in the end of the article.
