Hybrid delivery

Hi, I've waiting for 2 months for my Corolla hybrid to arrive here in Manitoba and notice that they are hard to find anywhere in North America. Anyone out there have any idea what's up? The dealer says that they usually send their order in and get a reply the next day stating when it will arrive, but they still have no indication from Toyota.
Are there any other hybrid owners on this forum?

I would imagine supply and demand. Here in North America it is the first time for a Corolla Hybrid but they have been sold elsewhere for some time. I don't know for certain but I would think the hybrid we get is made in the same factory the rest of the world gets.
