HID light issue

I been having a ebay hid lights for the past 1.5 years. recently one of them sometime wont turn on, so I have to turn the lights off and turn it back on few times before it works. I checked it and I seen the bulb have burnt mark in bottom half. So I changed it with one of my spear bulb and the same problem and burnt mark happened after a while. Any idea what could be the issue?

Not sure but you could swap the bulbs & see if the problem follows the bulb or not thus ruling out that issue. That being said please don't put HID bulbs in your halogen housing as the glare will blind oncoming traffic. Do a proper HID retrofit or use HIR bulbs for the best light with the halogen housing.

i have HID in fogs and low beam. I have this problem all the time. So far i checked everything and the only thing i seem to find is that connections are not the greatest especially on cheaper HID's. I just turn them on and off until they turn on.
