I turbocharged my 2011 corolla s with the 2zr-fe turbo kit.
i got it on the dyno and its at 237 whp and 224 wtq with the auto transmission. its fun and im joining this forum because problems are bound to pop up according to my peers, and alot of people seem to be knowledgeable on this forum

Not familiar with that turbo kit but glad it makes your S more fun to drive.

Just look on turbokits.com for the 2zr-fe turbo kit or type that in on google, it should pop right up.

Hey man,

I turbo'd my car. MAKE SURE TO RELOCATE YOUR AIR FILTER!!! On my car it was on the turbo, drove through a flood, sucked water into the intake, and blew my motor to pieces. Make sure to relocate that cone filter somewhere safe and cover it with a splash cover at the very least (K&N sell them). Also make sure to enclose it in a box so that splashes can't soak your filter. LEARN FROM MY MISTAKES. But congrats, did you do the work yourself?

Also how much boost are your running and did you rebuild the engine?

Yeah i did. The intake is located where the k and n cai on na applications is supposed to be

Im running 10 lbs on stock internals from a garrett gt2560r turbo

Alright. Ill look into it. That is a good idea. My next step is to build my 4 spped auto transmission

Also 10lbs on stock internals is asking for trouble. I ran 7 on mine before rebuilding the engine. Also, consider replacing the valve body on the auto transmission. MonkeyWrenchRacing sells upgraded valve bodies.
